Welcome to the St Barnabas’ Church of England (VC) Primary School website which we hope you will find both informative and easy to use.   By providing links to important documents such as newsletters, curriculum information and school policies, our website is intended to be a useful tool, not only for existing pupils' families, but also for those who would like to find out more about our school.  We are open to feedback so please let us know if you feel something is missing.

At St Barnabas’ Church of England Primary School we are proud of our supportive, caring school ethos which is based on Christian values – responsibility, fairness, courage, hope, integrity and compassion. We also aim to encourage self-respect and respect for others. We aim high and are ambitious for our children: we want them to be happy and self-confident, to develop a love for learning and to be the very best that they can be. We build good relationships with all our families, creating a close community and an effective partnership with parents. Older children care for the younger ones in a variety of ways, helping newcomers to feel secure and enjoy their time with us. All our children are taught to share a sense of respect and responsibility towards each other.

The best way to understand our aims and values is to visit our school “in action”. Please come and experience first-hand what we are all about so that we can answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to welcoming you to St Barnabas.
