School Meals

The children are encouraged to eat healthily at both break time and lunch time. At break times snack are provided for children in the Reception, Year 1 & Year 2. All other children are encouraged to bring in a healthy snack.

Lunch time is from 12pm until 1pm and all meals are eaten in the Hall. The children sit on the same table each day with other children from different classes. This enhances our ‘family feel’ and encourages children to talk to and help one another. When the majority of children have finished eating, they are sent out to the playground. We provide play equipment and climbing equipment on the grass area of the playground. The children are supervised at all times by our Midday Supervisory Assistants (MDSAs).

Our school dinners are provided by our in house kitchen. We provide meals which use only the highest quality, locally sourced fresh ingredients. We are passionate about making the school meal experience enjoyable and healthy. 

Universal free school meals are provided for children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2.
