Wiltshire Local Authority are responsible for primary school admissions at St Barnabas.  If you would like your child to attend our school you can find out more information in our Admissions Policy or by contacting the Local Authority admissions team –

If you are looking to transfer your child during the academic year you will need to complete an ‘In-year transfer form’. Please visit https://parentportal.wiltshire.gov.uk/web/portal/pages/home to start the process. 

In-year admissions for St Barnabas are managed centrally by Wiltshire Council and are based on the current admission criteria for community schools.  Steps to joining St Barnabas Primary School during the academic year:

1. Contact the school to check the availability of school places 
   1. If we have spaces, you will be invited to meet with the Headteacher and tour the school
   2. If we have no space, you will be able to join our waiting list.
2. Contact the school admissions team at Wiltshire Council to apply for an 'in year transfer'.
3. The school will review the in year application and accept/reject the application (depending on pupil numbers).
4. Contact will be made with you again to organsie a start date and send new starter details.
