Animal Roadshow- The children had a visit from some amazing animals, which they were able to hold, touch and learn about. It was an incredible experience for them all.
In History, we have been exploring Roman artefacts. The children enjoyed looking closely at the objects and thinking about what they are and what they are used for.
In literacy we have been working with a partner to read and edit our innovated writing of a setting description.
History- the children had a wonderful time exploring artefacts. They spent time thinking about what they might be, what they were used for and by whom.
Art- in art this term, we are combining musical instruments and animals. So here we are exploring musical instruments and sketching down our initial ideas.
PE- dance
Narnia- We all went on a trip to Narnia as part of our literacy learning, we enjoyed a frosty walk before we entered the snowy woods of Narnia.
Reading - the children each made their own bookmark to encourage them to continue to read regularly!
Christmas activities
Science-As part of our science learning of plants, we planted our own bean plants. This also linked to our Talk for Writing text 'Jack and the Beanstalk.'
